Orthotics
Here at Chiropody.co.uk we offer a high quality orthotics service to all our patients. Orthotics are inserts which are placed inside a patient's footwear with the aim of correcting any structural or functional abnormalities which have led to an injury.
Orthotics will be recommended to patients following a full biomechanical assessment of the patient's foot and lower limb function as well as an analysis of the patient's gait.
There are various different types of orthotics available including the following:
- Off the shelf insoles
- Custom casted orthotics
- Medial wedge insoles
- Lateral wedge insoles
- Sport specific insoles
